Job overview - asst. Sales Manager

Responsibilities of the selected applicants:

1.  Lead Generation:

  • Identify potential clients, establish contact, nurture relationship for lead generation.

2. Receiving Enquiries and Customer Queries:

  • Respond to incoming enquiries through phone and other channels.
  • Answer potential customer queries promptly and accurately.
  • Note down customer queries and capture them in CRM for further action.

3. Proposal Management:

  • Send Proposal Request Forms (PRF) to customers and assist in filling them up.
  • Prepare and send proposals to customers through CRM.

4. Follow-up and Order Conversions:

  • Follow up on proposals with customers to facilitate order conversions.
  • Ensure timely closure of deals and orders.

5. Tender Submission:

  • Assist in tender identification, documentation and submission processes.

Qualifications and skills - asst. sales manager

We are seeking candidates for the Assistant Manager – Sales role who hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline, along with 5 to 7 years of proven experience in B2B sales or business development. 

Preference will be given to those with experience in similar industries such as consulting, auditing, training, research, communication, or advertising. 

Essential skills include a strong track record in lead generation and conversion, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client engagement, and proficiency in managing the proposal process from creation to follow-up. 

A target and results-oriented mindset with a history of successful order conversions is crucial. Understanding of government tender submission process will be considered as an added advantage..

Familiarity with CRM systems is important for this position.
