What Is a DEI Audit or DEI As-Is Assessment?

A DEI audit (also called a DEI as-is or gap assessment) is a structured review of your current diversity, equity and inclusion maturity against ISO 30415:2021. It gives you a maturity score, a gap analysis and a prioritised, board-ready roadmap. To a customer, "DEI audit" and "DEI as-is assessment" mean the same thing.

What Is ISO 30415:2021?

ISO 30415:2021 is the international standard for Human Resource Management - Diversity and Inclusion. It sets out seven areas to assess: leadership commitment, strategy and planning, workplace culture, recruitment and advancement, pay equity, stakeholder engagement, and measurement and accountability.

How Is a DEI Assessment Different From a Gender Audit?

A DEI assessment looks at the whole picture of inclusion across every dimension. A gender audit is a deep-dive on one dimension - gender equity. They share the same PRISM engine and can be combined in a single engagement.
