Environment Excellence Award was organised to recognise the excellence of organisations in the sphere of environment and to appreciate for encouraging an organisation to achieve for environment management.
ICC environment excellence award 2017
Consultivo, yet again had been the Knowledge Partner for ‘Environment Excellence Award 2017’ organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), for the second time in a row. Like every year, this year too, the Environment Excellence Award was organised to recognise the excellence of organisations in the sphere of environment and is one of the most coveted & prestigious recognition that an organisation should strive to achieve for environment management.
This award function was held in Kolkata on 20 December 2017 and the assessment process including application evaluation, presentation by the applicants, scoring, on site visit to the short-listed applicants was coordinated by ICC and Consultivo.
Being the Knowledge Partner for this award, Consultivo provided the framework and relevant technical support for the award and organised it in terms of –
- Preparation of guideline and application form
- Evaluation of application
- Presentation of the evaluation report in front of the jury panel
- Preparation of score sheet format
- Suggest suitable and senior industry representative for the jury panel
The purpose of this award is to evaluate an organisation’s concern towards improvement in environmental performance and the society as a whole and encourage the outstanding contribution by the organisations with regard to the environment.
A panel of judges including eminent business leaders, management experts, environment professionals, economists, judges and other eminent personalities judged the applications divided into three categories (namely, Large Business Organisations, Medium Business Organisations, Small Business Organisations)and the winners and runner ups were given the awards accordingly.
