A one-day training programme on Fire & Electrical Safety was conducted by Consultivo Academy on 27 July 2018 in Kolkata. The main objective of this programme was to impart knowledge & awareness among the industry professionals on the identification, assessment, mitigation of fire and electrical hazards in organisations/industries.
The Fire & Electrical Safety Training programme began with an ice-breaking session to make the participants comfortable & at ease. This training programme was attended by participants from eminent corporate organisations like IOCL, NTPC, Jamipol, Titan, Primarc.
Our lead trainer from Consultivo Academy conducted the training in an interactive way discussing the fundamentals of fire & electrical safety. He gave an overview of the risks & hazards associated with fire & electricity, loss control with an insight into risk analysis, causes and classifications, various firefighting equipment, means of fire prevention & protection and the associated legal acts like The Factory Act, NBC, etc.
The session focussed on the practical challenges industries face in terms of fire & electrical safety and their respective measures. Swapan Bandopadhyay gave a brief overview on the risks & hazards associated with fire & electricity, various firefighting equipment, means of fire prevention & protection and the associated legal acts. The speakers cited examples from industries that helped people to relate and identify the potential hazards and ways of preventing them.
