The knowledge report on “Compliance to Risk Management:
Encashing your Rewards” was unveiled at the 13th edition of the CII Safety Symposium & Exposition – Eastern Region by Saikat Basu (Chief Mentor, Consultivo), Gautam Ray (Executive Director – HR & Admin, CESC Ltd.), Sandeep Kumar (Managing Director, Tata Metaliks Ltd.), S Suresh Kumar (Additional Chief Secretory – Dept. of Labour, Govt. of West Bengal), V K Nirala (Chief – Safety, Tata Steel Ltd.), Sumit Chakraborty (Director, CII) on 7 August 2019. The central theme of the conference was “Moving the Culture from Compliance to Risk Management”.
Like every year, this 2-day flagship initiative by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) provides a platform to the participants to interact with the safety professionals & thought leaders across industries. Consultivo was the technical partner of the CII Safety Symposium & Exposition 2019.
This knowledge report on risk management compliance focuses on the need for compliance in risk management and how it can lead to embedding risk-aware culture in an organisation. It further discusses the principles & guidelines of risk management with a brief overview of ISO 31000 standard & ISO 45000 standard.
The knowledge report is based upon a study carried out on various parameters of compliance & risk management methods as followed or implemented across various industries. It gives a bird’s-eye view of the risk management system based on the analysis of the study.
