The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) hosted the prestigious 6th edition of its Social Impact Awards on March 12, 2024, at the Taj Bengal Hotel, Kolkata. Consultivo served as the knowledge partner for the event, recognizing and celebrating outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and social impact initiatives across India for the year 2022-23.
On the occasion, a knowledge report by ICC-Consultivo titled “Creating CSR Impact: A Change Maker’s Handbook” for Indian businesses, foundations and NGOs was released. Consultivo CEO, Mr. Saikat Basu, moderated the panel whose discussion was timed to set off the report release.
The ceremony brought together a diverse group of stakeholders dedicated to positive societal change. Esteemed scholars, passionate Ph.D. candidates, and enthusiastic students from around the world engaged in enriching discussions and shared valuable insights.
The awards program encompassed a wide range of categories, including promoting education, clean energy, environmental sustainability, healthcare, and more. Organizations of all sizes were eligible to participate, with categories for mega enterprises, large and small businesses, and implementation agencies like NGOs and trusts. Project sizes ranged from large-scale initiatives exceeding 10 crore rupees to smaller impactful projects between 50 lakh and 2 crore rupees.
The 6th ICC Social Impact Awards served as a platform to acknowledge and celebrate the dedication of organizations committed to making a real difference. Highlighting these impactful social and CSR initiatives inspires others to follow suit, fostering a more equitable and sustainable future for all.
