Passion vs pandemic: My internship experience at Consultivo amid the crisis

The right opportunity is a wishful blessing for any anyone. This blog is about one such opportunity in my life – my internship days at Consultivo.

Hi, I am Sourav. I’m fortunate and so excited to be on this journey of becoming a confident go-getter person with the opportunity given by Consultivo. Being an intern in this organisation, I got the chance to work on my interest zone, learn and upgrade my skill set in this competitive environment.

What I love the most is that everyone at Consultivo is always ready to help in a very professional and positive way. It is a learning hub in the corporate world.

For me, this internship journey is a lesson altogether on professionalism, business ethics, passion and quality.

The learning experience

The entire journey was possible through the support of the Consultivo team. Right from the top management to everyone around, I’ve had the pleasure to interact, learn and be supercharged. I’ve acquired the professional techniques to be industry-ready. I’ve learnt (and of course still learning) how exact details are taken care of even in big projects. These are the impacts on me as a life lesson.

Right from the beginning, I loved the comfortable working environment. Celebrations are a part of the job here. It’s pure joy and enthusiasm.

I truly appreciate the free and open work culture at Consultivo. My internship came along with “Innovation Time Off”. It is such an unorthodox method – as an intern, I get enough space for nurturing several topics directly or indirectly related to my assignments

That’s something unique and so important for capacity development. It has helped me to enhance the sense of accountability, transparency, urgency and importance of every project in such a rewarding internship program.

Few months went by and then came the pandemic which disrupted and threatened everything.

But even in this shaky situation, I was delighted to continue my internship just the way it would have been.

In fact, Novel CoronaVirus has commanded all of us to embrace remote digital working for sustaining and surviving. The phrases like “Work from Home” and “Stay Home & Stay Safe” have now become our everyday life mantra to fight for surviving.

I’m very excited to join Consultivo Communications and Engagement team. Here’s to my journey of learning, working and growing with Consultivo for a better tomorrow.
