Kolkata, September 11, 2025: The 20th CII Safety Symposium and Exhibition 2026 was held on 24 and 25 September at Biswa Bangla Exhibition Centre, Newtown, Kolkata. Organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Eastern Region, the symposium served as a platform for safety champions, HSE experts, industry thought leaders, policymakers, regulators, and technology experts to come together and exchange insights in improving workplace safety culture.
Consultivo proudly served as the Technical Partner for the 20th edition of the CII Safety Symposium, continuing a partnership that has spanned more than a decade. This year’s symposium explored the theme“Safe. Smart. Sustainable. The Future of HSE Excellence”..
The spotlight of the symposium was the release of the CII-Consultivo Knowledge report on “Compendium of Good Practices on OHS 2026”

Day 1: Inaugural session, plenaries and awards
Day 1 of the symposium began with an inaugural session on ‘Safe. Smart. Sustainable. – India’s HSE Vision for Viksit Bharat@2047’. The session was graced by esteemed stalwarts from industry and government. The discourse focused on policy priorities, leadership commitment, regulatory excellence, digital transformation and collaborative action required to create safe, future-ready workplaces.

Day 2 of the symposium opened with Plenary III, followed by Plenary IV and Plenary V:
