An electrical safety audit is an independent, systematic check of your entire electrical system, from incoming supply and transformers to distribution boards, cabling, earthing and end equipment, against statutory and good-practice standards, to find hazards, rate the risk and recommend fixes.

Thermography Testing
Infrared thermography testing scans panels, joints and terminations under load to find abnormal hot spots. Coverage includes HT cable terminations and structures, transformer bushings and LT terminations, LT panel rooms, capacitor banks, servos, UPS, and all LDBs, PDBs, feeders and MCB DBs.
Arc-Flash Study
An arc flash is a sudden release of energy from an electric arc, with temperatures that can reach thousands of degrees and cause severe burns from a distance. Our study determines the incident energy, the flash-protection boundary and the PPE required for work on or near live equipment.
Lightning Protection Risk Assessment
An LPRA measures the risk of a lightning strike and the likely damage, then recommends protection to bring the risk below a tolerable level. Calculations follow international standards such as IEC 62305-2.
Harmonic Analysis Study
Non-linear loads such as drives, inverters and rectifiers inject harmonics that stress and damage equipment. A harmonic study identifies the sources, quantifies the levels and recommends how to protect equipment and avoid nuisance failures.
Earthing and Earth-Resistance Testing
We measure earth resistance and verify earthing and bonding against standard requirements, because sound earthing underpins almost every other electrical protection.
Hazardous Area Review
Where explosive atmospheres are present, equipment must match the zone. We review suitability and link to full hazardous area classification where a dedicated study is needed.

What is an electrical safety audit?

Which Indian standards apply to an electrical safety audit?
The main references in India are the CEA (Measures relating to Safety and Electric Supply) Regulations, 2023 under the Electricity Act, 2003; IS 732 for wiring installations; IS 3043 for earthing; the National Building Code of India, 2016; and IS 14489 for the safety audit itself. International standards such as NFPA 70E, IEC 60364 and IEC 62305 are used where they add value.
How often should an electrical safety audit be carried out?
For most facilities an electrical safety audit is done at least once a year, and after any major electrical modification, expansion or incident. Statutory inspection periodicities under CEA regulations and insurer or client requirements may set a specific frequency for your installation.
Who needs an electrical safety audit?
Every organisation that uses electricity, from a large hazardous plant to an office, warehouse, hospital, hotel, mall, data centre, institute or housing society. It applies to organisations of all sizes and types.
What is the difference between an electrical safety audit and thermography testing?
An electrical safety audit is a full review of your electrical system against standards. Thermography testing is one technique used within it, an infrared scan that finds hot spots under load. You can commission thermography testing on its own, but it is strongest as part of the audit.
What does an electrical audit report contain?

An arc-flash study assesses the risk of injury from the energy released by an electric arc. It determines the incident energy, the safe flash-protection boundary and the PPE required for work on or near energised equipment.
